When you think about how many fake bags, fake makeup, fake clothes, or other fake stuff in the world are produced everyday... Do you also wonder how many fake people are there? Does it reciprocates both? Or there are more fake people to date?
But how do you spot a fake person? With bags, you can easily spot a knock off just by smelling it. The smell of genuine leather and the feel of luxurious craftmanship is way too different than the imitations.
But in real life, how do you spot the fake friends? 'Cheap knock off" friends.
You sometimes tend to wonder, out of the thousand Facebook friends you have or hundreds of Instagram followers... How many of it are those that you could actually count on in times of need?
Five? Ten? or maybe three?
to be continued...
(Sorry gals, really sleepy now... But I have so much in mind!)

Fantasy over Reality
When she was a young girl, she
grew up watching movies where the girl meets the guy on a random place like a
coffee shop, a quiet bar, or while walking on the street going to school.
On her teenage years, she
fantasized about these movies she used to watch. Being young and naïve, she
ought to herself that this will be her love story.
Fantasy 1:
(Image from tumblr)
She is very sure she’ll meet her
first boyfriend while having her usual coffee on Starbucks. That a guy will walk
up to her and say something like ‘Hey, I like that you put so much vanilla on
your frappe. Can I borrow the vanilla?’ with a very charming smile on his lips.
So she spent her days on coffee
shops and waited for a guy to approach her. After a lot of frappe and fats, she
gave up. Guys in reality will never do that. She realized coffee shop guys are
either already in a relationship or gay. If not, she must’ve hanged out on a
wrong coffee shop.
Fantasy 2:
(Spectacular Now)
She gave up the thought of coffee
shops. Instead, she tried hanging out at bars. After school, she went out on
every bar on their block with her friends. She tried to have eye contacts and
that one-bottle policy with beers (just to keep her sane and not do anything
drunkenly stupid).
Alas again, no guy ever spoke to
her the way she fantasized. Well, there were couple of guys who spoke to her
but there was no spark that she hopes she’d feel. Guys who approached her tend
to do it fast or rather shallow.
Fantasy 3:
(Image from
tumblr)
The last on her young make-believe
love story, she tried walking on sidewalks for weeks hoping to bump with the
guy that will make her believe that movie love story that she grew up watching
is real.
But after so much sweat and
blisters on her feet, she gave. She knew at some point, no boyfriend material
will accidentally bump to her on the street. She might just be risking her
safety on the streets.
Reality 1:
The truth is, she already found her
fantasies on every scenario she thought on her mind.
She already found the guy in the
coffee shop because her nicest guy friend whom she met through an online
website is the guy who loves to take her to the coffee shop and just stare at
her for hours because he was too shy to talk to her. He is nice, sweet and a
gentleman in his own ways.
He’d sneak and find time for her
even though they were miles apart.
She just didn’t notice.
Reality 2:
(How I Met Your Mother scene)
The guy in the bar? She didn’t
really meet him exactly at a bar. But she met him over beers.
He is the deepest guy she knew.
She’d adore his choice of words when he speaks. The way he tries to make her
notice him is by not noticing her which is messed up cool.
They hang out over beers for
hours until the wee hours of the night. She sneaks with her parents just to be
with this guy.
Yet she didn’t realize this guy, is the guy she was hoping to meet at the bar.
Reality 3?
No there wasn’t any third
reality. Sorry for expecting.
Moral of the story? Fantasies and
make beliefs are okay. But you have to step out of it and face reality. Because
you might never know reality already hit you hard you’ll end up not catching it
and just bruising yourself. The bruise? Well that will be a scar that might
stay on you forever. You’ll end up remembering it every day when you face the
mirror and see the scar.

The Tallest Man On Earth's Leading Me Now
By the eyes of the very young
It's a sudden good attack
Born of the weakness my oys and I
Carry anger forth and back
But we'll make it somehow
You've all what's mine
And your leading me now
On the gallop to mother's few
We will lose our breath and fight
And you give me the look of thorns
We get liars every night
But I get you somehow
Leave the reins inside
'Cause your leading me now
Every time we wonder
What we left back in your heart
Could you see we're dreaming
Though our minds just fall apart
To the side where I flew from you
When your pace just scared me blind
We would come back and joke of days
When I sold you to the unkind
We will end up somehow
With a peaceful mind
And you're leading me now
And every time we wonder
What we left back in your heart
Could you see we're dreaming
Though our minds just fall apart
But we will end up somehow
With a peaceful mind
And you're leading me now

Feeling at peace.
Remember when you used to buy the song hits booklet at a convenient store and cut thru the pages and make a collage of your favorite lyrics? You'll get your artistry and comfort zone for 15 bucks. What a great deal!
P.S.
This song is from Endless Love soundtrack. No, not the Korean film (I don't watch Asian love story). It's the one where Alex Pettyfer is the leading guy.

Cookie's Color Pick: Pretty in Pink
Hello again lovelies!
The Cookie's gonna start to post each week a makeup shade that she actually use.
For this week, I chose a lip pencil and a lipstick that I bought at Mac couple of weeks ago.

Dear Shailene
I like her name.
I might include it on my list of baby names.
Can we take a moment to appreciate her beauty...
I can't wait for Insurgent!
Look at her hair!
It's been a year since I cut my hair like that. (Although because I fancied Jennifer Lawrence's haircut a year ago.)
Wow!

The Little Prince is not Cookie Monster
Why do we call him Cookie Monster? Grew up watching Sesame
Street and I don’t even thought of him as a monster. He’s just somebody who
happens to love cookies. Like a kid who loves lollipops. Or perhaps a
shopaholic whose eyes glimmers when she sees the 50% discount signage. And
maybe an artist and his paint brushes.
Point is, we only see the person based on the label given by
the society to him. Forced because needed to.
A quote from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince
If you were to say to the grown-ups: “I saw a beautiful house
made of rosy brick, with geraniums in the windows and doves on the roof,” they
would not be able to get any idea of that house at all.
You would have to say to them: “I saw a house that cost
$20,000.”
Then they would exclaim: “Oh, what a pretty house it is!”
Get it?
My heart screamed so loud, my mind answered tonight.

Petite girls' Fashion 101
Looking for the perfect ootd but can't find the perfect one? I, myself, is always on the dilemma of it! So if you consider yourself a "petite" built, here are some perfect fashion101 you should know. Some hollywood celebs are also on our same size but hey! They pull it off perfectly! So why can't we?
1. Avoid oversized bags.
2. Wear clothes that fit well
3. Select wardrobes with vertical lines
4. Dress in one color
5. Wear V-neck
6. Skip the minis.
7. Wear high heels!
Who can pull this off perfectly than Carrie Bradshaw herself!
Anyone got an eye for any of the photos? What do you think of this post? Hit me up with a comment ladies!

Milk Tea Craze!
You're probably on another planet if you haven't tried any milk tea available on our market today. I honestly didn't expect that milk tea drinks will boom as big as it is right now. I remember my first naicha experience was just from this Lipton powder sachet on local supermarkets which were always on my weekly grocery list. :)
And since milk tea drinks are now basically everywhere around the mall, good find is the one located at the new wing of Alabang Town Center called Gong Cha. It was first launched in Taiwan and now found all over Asia. love it coz the sweetness is just right for my picky taste bud.
Gong Cha at the new wing of newly renovated Alabang Town Center.
I love the best seller Milk Tea with Pearl Jelly.
But the list of the menu goes on and on. Check their website for further info: http://gongcha.ph/

And because I miss prod and shoots... I'll take you back some time 2 years ago.
There's this certain ambiance of productions that I miss. The cramming, the fast phase shoots, the laugh and never ending coffee breaks everyday. I basically drink coffee like water everyday. And this isn't just like the part-time events i attend to way back where I just stand and smile. Reality show shoots is hella hardwork and fun!
I totally miss the people... Ira, Joanne, Shai, Magel, Bianca, Hanz, Santi, Russell, Kuya Manny, Tracy, Ate Jas, Direk Dan, Ms. Alia, Kim, Kriska, Yna, Sinoia, Fianca, Sir Jojie, Leo, Meann... Well, there's too much to say. :)
Now that Season 3 is currently on the tube, I wonder who'll be the next designer who'll bag the prize. :)

Stripes and Suede
The lady is back. The past weeks are all about work and stuff. Here's something I could share for a day at the office.
Bodycon from Forever21. Black 3/4 tee from Mango. Wedges from Janylin.
I actually like wearing bodycon skirts this way. But if I'm feeling bloated or fat i think it works with a loose top. :P
And here's goes the forever mirror shot! So long ladies!

Lashful Experience
Vanity completes a girl spunky attitude. You could never deny it when you're a certified kikay. Just wanna share this faux eyelashes I bought.
Ardell is a U.S. brand of faux eyelashes which are used by most Hollywood celebrities and make up artists. I just recently saw on the net, celebrities of Dancing With The Stars are using it.
It has actually a wide ranged of lashes but I chose the 110 Black coz I opt for a more natural look. Something that could be for everyday use. What's really good about Ardell is that it's reusable! Perfect for me as I really don't want to buy stuffs again and again.
Also bought the Ardell LashGrip in Dark as an adhesive to my lashes. I chose Dark as I have really small eyes or semi-chinita eyes (If there's a term like that! :P). I put on dark eyeshadow on a regular basis. And LashGrip in Dark doesn't look weird on my dark eyeshadow. Win win!
This is my natural lashes. My lashes are really short so I have to use eyelash curler everyday and put on black mascara.
Now check out how Ardell 110 in Black looks sooooo natural to my eyes!

Bought these on PCX Alabang Town Center. It's cheap for something that you can use for a long time. Really a good find!

All American Nails
How cute are these gel polish shades. It's a shimmery blue and red gel polish... Gel Polish isn't your ordinary polish. Currently, it is done professionally on selected nail salons. It won't dry unless it has been put under a UV or LED lamp. Perfect way to describe it: it's shinier and last longer than an ordinary manicure!
Already changed the image to a better quality!

Ni Hao Ma
Ni Hao Ma in Chinese means Hello! or How are you? Late last year was my first trip to China. It was right after the spring thingy in Guangzhou where there were beautiful flowers everywhere. I am not sure of the event name but its basically when all the flowers are in bloom.
At Jianguo Hotel just right infront of the train station. The room is pretty cozy and people were warm and friendly. Had a little hard time having conversation with the people but surely they are very accommodating.
Backpacking to Guangzhou.
Lucky to be there during the Canton Fair. It was one of those big trade fairs that happens in Guangzhou. When you are opting for a distribution biz, you'll be amazed of all the items found at this fair.
The hotel is just right infront of a mall called Jusco. I noticed most of the KFC, Pizza Hut and Starbucks places are sitting right to each other. I am not sure why though. Had this Chicken and Shrimp Fillet and Orange juice at KFC. Chinese foods pretty much has this same 'taste'. I couldn't find the right words to explain it. What I mean is that you'll JUST know it's Chinese food when you taste it.
Went at this Divisoria-like Cosmetic mall called Beauty Exchange Centre. It has basically all sort of beauty accessories and stuff. From wig, salon supplies, nail cosmetics, make-up, herbal, whitening, just anything about beauty!
Got this metallic acrylic nails too. It doesn't chip off easily plus its reusable. You just really need to put on some TOP COAT to make it last longer
Here's more of Jianguo Hotel ammenities.
Try to be keen around and you'll see familiar bloopers and misspelling. :P
And more of Guangzhou's.
I have lots pf photos but prolly just that for now. So long!
