I am not really a fan of cinnamon, but excuse me for exempting Cinnabon. Their cinnamon breads are love. I swear it has some magic on it. While waiting at the airport, there's a Cinnabon cafe just beside Mrs. Fields at Terminal 3. :)
Cebu Pacific always has the best value for flights. You can't expect much but its one of the airlines in the country who offers seat sales from time to time.
So what's there in Cebu that you could do on a fast track weekend? Here's what I did for staying there in just 2 days (or less!).
Malls. Ayala Center Cebu. Same ambiance like Greenbelt I guess. Lots of bars and restaurants. But try not to compare prices when shopping. I believe its a bit expensive in Cebu than in Manila. I was looking for something to buy for myself when I fell inlove seeing this cute wedges in Janylin but was contemplating whether to buy it or not. In the end, I decided not to buy it and look the same style when I get back to Manila. True enough, found the same shoes at Alabang Town Center. And geez! It cost wayyyy much cheaper!
Food. Holler! So I saw a buffet Don Henricos at Ayala Center. I love Don Henricos. Hate me, but I think they got decent food on their menu. Something you would want after a good walk at the mall.
Sight seeing. There's so much to see in Cebu while just wandering the city. Here's a quick spots you may find...
The Basilica Minore Del Santo Nino
Magellan's Cross
Taoist Temple
And of course, you could never go wrong with Cebu beaches. Your flip flops, sunscreen and aviators will be your bffs! Mine is High Havs and the classic Rayban Aviators.
So much for a quick weekend getaway!
xoxo,
